Tours in Peru At this page we designed several package tours. One of them might be exactly what you want but they are very flexible. Maybe you would like to change something by adding on somewhere a few days or excursions or by skipping something. It is all possible.
We operate the following way; You will be picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel of your choice.You’ll be given there the necesarry tickets and vouchers for your trip and be informed about the departure times of the local activities you booked with us. At the end of your stay you will be taken to the airport or bus or train station and at the next destination the same will happen. This way we can make every tour run almost every day of the year which makes us very flexible. We have everywhere represenatives who will be there in case you need an extra service or in case of any emergency. So although you are not traveling as a group your you are never on your own
TOUR 01 : THE INCAS OF PERU
This short tour of only six days takes you to the Inca heartland and is a good introduction to the Inca culture. This tour is very suitable for those people who don’t have much time but want to see all the Inca highlights in the Cuzco area.
DAY 01: Arriving in Lima. You will be picked up from the airport and taken to a hotel of your choice in Lima. Rest of the day free.
DAY 02: In the morning you’ll be picked up from the hotel and taken back to the airport for the one hour flight to Cuzco. Upon arriving in Cuzco you’ll be transferred to the hotel of your choice in Cuzco. In the afternoon there is a city tour which last for about three and a half hours and you will visit the nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Quenqo, Pukipucara and Tambomachay. It also includes the temple of the sun (Qoricancha) and the cathedral. To enter all this sites and lots of other sites in the city you need a tourist ticket (BTC) which comes included in the price.
DAY 03: Excursion to the Sacred Valley. You visit the small market town of Pisaq, the ruins of Ollantaytambo and the small community of Chincheros. Lunch included in a restaurant in the SacredValley.
DAY 04: A visit to Machu Picchu: This excursion last all day. You will be collected from the hotel and transferred to the train station. The comfortable tourist train will take you to the small town of Aquas Calientes from where busses leave to the ruins (+/- 20 min). A guided tour through the ruins of about two and a half hours followed with an opportunity for lunch (not included). Some more time to explore the ruins and then back by bus and train to Cuzco where you will be transferred to your hotel.
DAY 05: You will be transferred to the airport for your one hour flight to Lima. Upon arrival you will be taken to the hotel of your choice in Lima. In the afternoon there is a city tour in Lima.
DAY 06: Transfer from your hotel to LimaAirport for your international flight out of Peru.
TOUR 02 : THE INCAS OF PERU AND THE AMAZON
This tour of eight days takes you to the Inca heartland and the Amazon jungle. It is a good introduction to the Inca culture and what is life in the jungle about. This tour is very suitable for those people who want to combine Inca highlights in the Cuzco area and want to take advantage of the fact that they are very near the Amazon jungle.
DAY 01: Arriving in Lima. You will be picked up from the airport and taken to a hotel of your choice in Lima. Rest of the day free.
DAY 02: In the morning you’ll be picked up from the hotel and taken back to the airport for the one hour flight to Cuzco. Upon arriving in Cuzco you’ll be transferred to the hotel of your choice in Cuzco. DAY 05: Transfer to the airport to catch the 30 minute flight from Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado. Upon arrival you will be taken to the port where you will take a motorized boat to the lodge. The lodge is about 40 km away from town and the boat journey takes about 2 hours. By the time we arrive it will be time for lunch. After a short rest we do a short walk in the nearby jungle where it is easy to spot caimans. Dinner and early night.
DAY 06: Early breakfast and walk through the jungle. There are 2 options. For those ones who want a real hike there is the possibility to go to Cocha Perdida. All together you will be walking for about 7 hours but only 30 minutes away is the equally beautiful lake Apu Victor. On both lakes there are plenty of opportunities to see birds. It is most likely you will spot parakeets, parrots, toucans, horn screamers, herons and fly catchers but many other kind of birds are around. After lunch we have a short rest and late afternoon we go out in a boat to visit MonkeyIsland.
DAY 07: Breakfast and return by boat to Puerto Maldonado to catch your flight to Lima. Upon arrival you will be taken to your hotel in Lima.
DAY 08:Transfer from your hotel to LimaAirport for your international flight out of Peru.
TOUR 03 : SOUTHERN PERU
This tour of 11 days covers the most important tourist attractions of Southern Peru. You stay in the cities of Lima, Arequipa, Puno and Cusco and you will be visiting the ColcaCanyon, Lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu among others. For those people interested there is also the opportunity of doing a 3 day extension from Lima to Nazca visiting the Nazca lines and the Ballestas islands.
DAY 01: Arriving in Lima. You will be picked up from the airport and taken to a hotel of your choice in Miraflores. Rest of the day free.
DAY 02: In the morning you’ll be picked up from the hotel and taken back to the airport for the 70 minute flight to Arequipa. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Rest of the day free to explore Arequipa. We suggest a visit to the Santa Catalina convent.
DAY 03: You will be collected from your hotel at about 8.30 am to start our 5 hour journey to Chivay. On route we will stop several times to take pictures of the wild life. We might see vicuñas, viscachas, a great variety of birds among them Flamingos. We go as high as 4850 meters above sea level and will be able to watch several volcanoes. We arrive at the small town of Chivay at about 13.30 and you will be transferred to a comfortable hostel. The rest of the afternoon is free to go walking or visit the local hot springs. In the evening there is the possibility to attend a folkshow (optional).
DAY 04: We will have an early breakfast and leave the hotel at about 6.30 AM to drive for about 1.5 hours to Cruz del Condor. At this place we have got a good possibility to spot condors flying relatively low. We stay here for about an hour before returning to Chivay. On route we stop several times at view points and in some of the small villages we pass like Pincholle, Maca and Yanque. After lunch (optional) we continue to Puno where we arrive in the beginning of the evening.
DAY 05: Today you will be visiting the UrosIslands on Lake Titicaca and the pre Inca burial towers of Sillustani. You will be picked up from your hotel at about 9.00 AM and taken to the port of Puno where a motorized boat will be waiting for you to take you to the Uros islands which are about 40 minutes away. At the moment there are about 40 islands of which you will visit about three. There is also the opportunity to join a ride on an original reed boat. The pre-inca ruins of Sillustani are about 30 kilometers away from Puno. Here we can admire several burrial towers known as Chullpas. You will be picked up from your hotel at about 14.30 hrs and the journey to the site take about 45 minutes. We spend about an hour and a half to two hours at the site and you will be back in your hotel late afternoon.
DAY 06: Time table permitting you can take the train to Cusco. The journey takes 10 hours and the scenery is fabulous with panoramic views of the high plateau during the first part of the journey and mountain views during the second part of the journey. You will be able to use the observation car which is at the end of the train. (It is also possible to do this journey by a special tourist bus). Upon arriving in Cuzco you’ll be transferred to the hotel.
DAY 07: The morning is free to explore Cusco or go souvenir hunting. In the afternoon there is a city tour which last for about three and a half hours and you will visit the nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Quenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. It also includes the temple of the sun (Qoricancha) and the cathedral. To enter all this sites and lots of other sites in the city you need a tourist ticket (BTC) which comes included in the price.
